Herbert S. Gross, MD, a psychoanalyst and psychiatrist in Rockville, Maryland was awarded a 2021 Distinguished Service Award by the American Psychoanalytic Association.

In receiving this award, Dr. Gross is recognized for his nearly half-century of service to APsaA on behalf of patients, our mental health communities and the psychoanalytic field. 

APsaA Denounces Court Decision on Conversion Therapy

 

New York, NY - November 25, 2020 - The American Psychoanalytic Association (APsaA) denounces the recent decision in the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals which voided local Florida laws designed to protect minors from the dangerous and fraudulent practice of conversion therapy.
