College of Research Fellows

The College of Research Fellows of APsA functions as an Honorary Society, under APsA’s Science Department, with four purposes:

  1. To provide a home in APsA for researchers within psychoanalysis and psychodynamic/psychoanalytic psychotherapy.
  2. To promote collaboration between psychoanalytic clinicians and researchers.
  3. To sponsor and promote research mentorship for young psychodynamic/ psychoanalytic researchers.
  4. To stimulate intellectual growth within the programs and academic offerings of APsA and enhance the vitality of psychoanalytic education and training through APsA’s Department of Psychoanalytic Education (DPE).
