Undergraduate Essay Prize
A $500 prize will be awarded to an undergraduate paper or essay which engages psychoanalytic ideas in relation to a focused question in any academic discipline.

Eligibility
The paper must have been written in an undergraduate course or under an instructor’s supervision within one year of submission. The paper should be between 12-20 pages in length, and should neither have been published nor submitted for publication. Paper must have been written for an undergraduate course at a college/university within the United States.
Submission
Essays should be submitted by the instructor. In a separate cover letter, please include the course name (if applicable), the instructor’s name, and the name of the student along with his/her contact information (mailing address, email address and telephone number). Submit via email to Debbie Steinke Wardell.
Only one submission per instructor, please.
Essays are due September 30.
