Tuition Support for Academics

Tuition support for academics to attend psychoanalytic training seminars at APsA approved Institutes. An “academic” is defined as a graduate student, independent scholar, or faculty member in the arts and sciences, excluding the traditional clinical fields of medicine, psychology, and social work.

Financial support is available for any academic, whether one is a candidate without previous clinical training (such as an academic), currently enrolled in training, or is interested in gaining psychoanalytic knowledge for research. Preference will be given to first-time applicants and those pursuing clinical training, but any academic taking courses at an APsA Institute is eligible. These grants are offered for tuition only and paid directly to the institute.
