Shoshana Shapiro Adler, PhD and Anita Schmukler, DO are offering a consultation group for psychotherapists and psychoanalysts who wish to engage in sustained, thoughtful dialogue about clinical work within a psychoanalytic and psychodynamic framework.

The group will provide a confidential and collegial setting in which participants may present clinical material and reflect together on the complexities of therapeutic process. Particular attention will be given to transference and countertransference, the analytic frame, unconscious communication, and moments of uncertainty or impasse that arise in treatment.

Participation is intended for practicing clinicians who are interested in maintaining an ongoing reflective space for the exploration of analytic work.
