May 1, 2026 — New York, NY — The American Psychoanalytic Association (APsA) announces the launch of “Online Courses,” a new digital learning offering designed to expand access to high-quality psychoanalytic education and provide flexible opportunities to earn CME/CE credit.
APsA Online Courses feature self-paced, on-demand programming that allows clinicians and professionals to engage with course material at their convenience. As part of the initial rollout, APsA will release one new course per month.
The first course, Interpretation: The Voice of the Field, is now available through the APsA account portal. This 2 CME/CE credit course includes access to the original paper published in the Journal of the American Psychoanalytic Association (JAPA), a video interview with author Donnel Stern, as well as a post-test, evaluation, and certificate of completion.
“APsA Online Courses represent an important step in expanding access to psychoanalytic education,” said Kate Brundage, Director of Accreditation. “This new format allows us to meet learners where they are, offering rigorous content in a flexible and accessible way.”
APsA Online Courses are available to both members and guests, individuals must create an APsA account in order to purchase. Courses are offered at a discounted rate of $70 for APsA members and $100 for guests.
