APsA Announces 2026 Tuition Support Award Recipients in Social Work and Advanced Practice Nursing
Four individuals selected for awards supporting psychoanalytic training across mental health disciplines
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
September 22, 2026 — New York, NY — The American Psychoanalytic Association (APsA) has named four recipients of its 2026 tuition support awards for licensed social workers and advanced practice registered nurses pursuing psychoanalytic training at APsA-affiliated institutes. Each award provides $750 in tuition assistance, paid directly to the recipient’s training program, for the 2026–2027 academic year.
2026 Psychoanalytic Social Work Tuition Support Recipients
Sponsored by APsA’s Graduate Education in Social Work Committee, this award supports early-career licensed social workers — within five years of their master’s degree — seeking tuition assistance for continuing education or post-master’s training at an APsA-approved institute or affiliate society. This year’s recipients are:
- Jackie Grossano, LCSW-A — Psychoanalytic Center of the Carolinas
- Dorian Rolston, LMSW — New Orleans-Birmingham Psychoanalytic Center
2026 Advanced Practice in Nursing Tuition Support Recipients
Sponsored by APsA’s Advanced Practice in Nursing Committee, this award supports Certified Nurse Practitioners, Clinical Nurse Specialists, and Certified Nurse Midwives enrolled in psychoanalytic or psychoanalytic psychotherapy training. This year’s recipients are:
- Alexandra (Lex) Constantinides, DNP, RN, APRN, PMHNP-BC — Psychoanalytic Association of New York (PANY)
- Grant Lemoine, RN, APRN, PMHNP-BC — New Orleans-Birmingham Psychoanalytic Center
Of the award, Grant Lemoine said “To say I am grateful is such an understatement. This really means a lot to me for many reasons. I feel so incredibly welcome as a new trainee to the New Orleans Birmingham psychoanalytic center and APsA for providing this support for PMHNPs who are driven to this work.
