Dear Colleagues,

Welcome to APsaA’s Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Track Page. Scroll down to find helpful information to make the most of the 2020 National Meeting.  The Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy track features numerous in-depth scientific sessions and case-based discussion groups about psychoanalytic psychotherapy; the Meeting also includes two networking opportunities for psycho-dynamically oriented psychotherapists from across the country. (See below).

The Psychotherapy Department sponsors several programs highlighted on this page. We encourage you to attend those and the myriad of other fascinating sessions and social events. APsaA’s Psychotherapist Associates’ Committee organizes opportunities for psychotherapist meeting attendees to connect, network and navigate the program. By affiliating with APsaA as a Psychotherapist Associate, you can register at a significantly reduced fee. Click here for more information about joining and pre-registering for February’s meeting.

Finally, we would like to extend an invitation to attend the Psychotherapy Department Dine Around Tuesday, February 11, at 7:00 p.m. and the Psychotherapy Networking Event on Thursday, February 13, 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. They are both terrific ways to mingle with like-minded therapists and learn about the tremendous benefits of affiliating with APsaA as a Psychotherapist Associate. If you are a first-time attendee, please try to attend the New Attendees gathering Tuesday, February 11, from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.; look for a Psychotherapist Associate committee member who will be there to greet you.

We are excited to connect with you during the meeting. Please do not hesitate to contact Margo Goldman if you have any questions or suggestions. Don’t forget to spread the word to your psychodynamic colleagues about what APsaA has to offer!

We look forward to seeing you in New York!

Warm regards,

Ralph Beaumont, Chair, Psychotherapy Department
Margo Goldman, Co-Chair, Psychotherapist Associates Committee
Simone Hoermann, Co-Chair, Psychotherapist Associates Committee
