Continuing Education

APsA is an accredited provider of continuing education for physicians, psychologists, psychoanalysts, social workers, and counselors. We also provide maintenance of certification points for physicians certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

In addition to providing the following educational credit types for licensure and certification renewal, we also accredit external education for CME credit. To learn how to apply your educational programs for CME accreditation, visit APsA’s Joint Provider CME program.

View APsA’s priority topics list for developing education in psychoanalysis. This list is compiled from the APsA 2024 Spring Needs Assessment Survey by our members.
