General Bequest Language
To include APsaA in a will, please use the following suggested bequest language. For contingent and other types of bequest language, please contact the Executive Director.
“I give (the sum of ____ dollars) or (all or ____ percent of the residuary of my estate) to The American Psychoanalytic Association, New York, New York (Tax ID #13-1685533), for its general purposes and support.”
Stock Transfer Information
To make a stock contribution to APsaA, please transfer stock using the DTC System. To do this, the donor must write a letter to your custodian/brokerage firm requesting “X” number of shares be transferred from their account to APsaA by way of the DTC system. Brokers must include their DTC number along with the request.
Please make sure to notify APsaA of the gift (stock and number of shares) PRIOR to the transfer being made so we can set up receipt of your gift.
