Frequently Asked Questions

is it ok for me to make changes here?

Can I still register for the conference?

Registration closed on Sunday, June 14th at midnight, eastern time.  There will be no on-site registration for this conference.  Please visit Upcoming Meetings to see our schedule of upcoming meetings.

What is a virtual conference?

A virtual conference is hosted entirely over the Internet. It will allow attendees to access live and hear presentations from their computers. Attendees participate through a conference website designed specifically for the virtual conference. The site is where you will watch conference presentations and participate with questions and comments in real time.

What are the technical requirements needed to participate?

To participate, you need an Internet connection and web browser. For the best viewing experience, we recommend that you join the conference using a supported internet browser, which includes Google Chrome, Firefox, and Safari. Internet Explorer is not recommended as some functions, such as chat, are not fully supported.

What platform will be used to host the conference?

APsaA will be using Zoom to host this conference.  Zoom is a free online video conferencing platform.

Do I need a Zoom account to access the meeting?

Yes!  All participants must have a Zoom account.  It’s fine to have the free version.  This is a security issue as Zoom will verify the email address being used is a working, viable email.  Go to zoom.us to sign up for Zoom.

Can I register by mail and send in a check?

No, the only way to register for this conference is online.

What happens once I register?

Once you register, you will receive a confirmation email.  24 hours prior to the start of the conference you will receive an email with detailed instructions on how to connect to the conference.

Will I have access to the recordings and materials?

At this time, we do not know if the sessions will be recorded.  We will update this when we have more information.

Will I still receive CME?

Yes, CME credits will be offered for this virtual conference. Click here for more information.
