Airports
Three airports are located in the NYC area: John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK, 17 miles), LaGuardia Airport (LGA, 8 miles), and Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR, 17 miles).

Ground Transportation from Airport
Taxi: Yellow cabs are available from the ground transportation locations of each airport. Tolls and tip (customarily 20%) are in addition to prices listed below.
1) JFK taxis offer a $52 flat fare between JFK and Manhattan.
2) LGA taxis are approximately $40 to the Grand Hyatt New York.
3) EWR taxis are approximately $58 to the Grand Hyatt New York. There is a 10% senior citizen
discount (62 years and older) upon presentation of proper identification.

Metro: Public transportation is available from each airport. MTA vending machines are available at the airport and at train stations. MTA rides are flat rate $2.75. AirTrain rides are $5. There is a $1 fee for a new MetroCard. If you will be traveling by train frequently, we recommend purchasing a 7 Day Unlimited Pass for $33.00. 1) JFK take AirTrain JFK Red 5 stops to Jamaica Station. Transfer to World Trade Center
bound E. Take it 19 stops to Lexington Av – 63 St Station. Transfer to the Crown Hts – Utica bound
4 train.
2) LGA take Q70-SBS 3 stops to Roosevelt ave/74th Street. Transfer to the Manhattan bound 7
train, 11 stops to Grand Central terminal.
3) EWR the MTA does not connect to NJ, but there are several options for traveling from NJ to the
hotel, including the Newark Airport Express, AirTrain Newark, NJ Transit Bus Lines, and AMTRAK.
City Transportation
MTA Subway and Buses: The Grand Hyatt New York is connected to Grand Central Terminal for direct access to the 4, 5, 6, 7, and S subway lines and the Metro North Railroad to Westchester and Connecticut. The 42nd St Crosstown M42 bus stops on 42nd and Lexington and Park. MTA has a flat fare of $2.75. There is a $1 fee for a new MetroCard. If you will be traveling by train frequently, we recommend purchasing a 7 Day Unlimited Pass for $33.00. Remember to use your Google Maps app when planning your public transportation trip!
Taxi or Uber/Lyft: A 20% tip is customary. Google Maps (or your Uber/Lyft accounts) will give you an estimate of travel time.
Citi Bike
Citi Bike is a bike-share program in New York City; bicycle stations are located throughout the city. There is a station on Pershing Square North which is one block south of the Grand Hyatt New York.
Amtrak
Amtrak trains enter and leave New York City at Penn Station, 34th Street and Seventh Avenue, about 21 blocks from the Grand Hyatt New York.
Grand Hyatt Parking
The Grand Hyatt offers valet parking onsite for $70 for up to six hours and $80 for overnight parking.
