DESCRIPTION:This three-hour seminar explores how racialized identity\, particularly Latinx identity\, is shaped by cultural\, institutional\, and historical forces. Drawing from three papers\, participants will examine psychoanalysis’s relationship to race\, whiteness\, and systems of power; internalized racial hierarchies; and memory\, music\, and resistance. The seminar invites clinicians to consider multiplicity and unconscious assumptions within clinical practice.
