Community Membership is a non-voting category of membership within the APsA organization. This membership type provides individuals with a valuable connection to the APsA community, fostering engagement with psychoanalysis and psychoanalytic thought. While Community Members do not possess voting rights, they remain an integral part of the broader psychoanalytic community, benefiting from the exchange of ideas and resources available through APsA.

Student Member

Welcome Students and Residents!  The Student Member category of Community membership is for undergraduates, graduate students, residents, and those enrolled in training as health care professionals (who are not currently enrolled in or graduates of an APsA or equivalent psychoanalytic or psychodynamic psychotherapy training program).

Annual dues are only $30 with benefits that include deeply discounted APsA Meeting registration fees and opportunities to connect with the wider psychoanalytic community.

Individuals who meet the qualifications for clinical or academic membership in APsA are not eligible to join the student member category.  Community members including student members do not have voting privileges.
