This film screening explores how psychotherapists and psychoanalysts are increasingly confronted with the question of whether an AI platform (ChatGPT, therapy bots, or a future operating system) can replace the therapy relationship and to what degree it can mimic it. This talk looks at the potential and limits of AI therapy from a multi-theoretical perspective of attachment, mentalization, the depressive position, and desire and fantasy.
