An opportunity to study parenting issues in a variety of settings. This conference will explore current issues of diversity and social challenge as couples become parents and navigate unique parenting issues. Experts from the Tavistock Clinic and the faculty of the International Psychotherapy Institute will illuminate parenting issues through a unique object relations framework. Through case material, we will ground theory in clinical practice and witness how conscious and unconscious forces shape the work of parenting.
