Description: The mission of this group is to be a year-long professional development program that offers a unique opportunity for social work, psychiatry, and psychology academic faculty to develop expertise in psychoanalytic and psychodynamic teaching and course development. The program provides community and growth opportunities for early and mid-career faculty at institutions and in geographical locations with limited mentorship opportunities in psychoanalysis and psychodynamic pedagogy. The program is supported by senior clinicians who offer master pedagogy classes as well as individual mentors who support faculty development throughout the Academy year.
