Description: The mission of the RGPDC Is to support the continued education and professional development of recent graduates of psychoanalytic institutes. Being a psychoanalyst involves lifelong learning and continued professional development. The period right after moving from candidate to graduate analyst is an important time to further develop clinical skills, expand and deepen theoretical knowledge, become involved as faculty members and other roles at the local and national level and to become active members of ApsaA. The committee will actualize this mission by providing educational, mentoring, and networking opportunities at the national meetings, by developing national web based educational programs and by supporting local institutes in developing their own programs for supporting the professional development of their recent graduates.
